ENSURE DATE AVAILABILITY

But don't dilly-dally!

Let's set a preview date! If you aren't sure when you can make time for a preview but are dedicated to having me as your Artist on your big day, you can pay a retainer to secure your date, sign a service agreement with all your details and you will be booked. We can sort out a preview and/or an engagement shoot at a later date.

*Please note that I can confirm availability, but can not reserve your wedding date without a retainer.

  • Do you have a client minimum?
Sure do. It's Bride plus 3. That can be all Bridesmaid's or Mom's, Grandmother's or whomever is conducting the ceremony. Typically it's a mix. Anything less would be a Bride Only request and I'll make your guest an add on. There is a small savings upon meeting my minimum!
  • Where are wedding previews held?
Monday and Friday mornings I can come to you, other dates can be accomodated at my home studio. Weekends are reserved for weddings.
  • Can I book my Makeup Preview on the day of my Engagement Session with my Photographer?
I can't tell you what to do but I don't suggest it. A bride rarely ever wants the same look repeated on her wedding day, especially when it comes to her makeup look. Many moving parts to consider and your preview shouldn't be limited by time constraints. We should be in the zone losing ourselves in all the details, picture references and that should be our main focus! Consider booking your engagement makeup after the preview and we can try a look different from the one you'll be rockin' on the big day!
  • Do you do makeup for same sex marriages?
Yes, this typically requires 2 set ups on the big day, one for each getting ready location. We will work out a timeline that budgets that in and we will not miss a beat! Wedding previews can be booked separately or one after the other, your choice.
  • Do you travel for destination weddings?
Uh ya! You pay my way and I'll be there. Destination weddings are a hoot! You get to share your big day in an incredible place with all your favorite people. But, there are many moving parts and maybe a language barrier and possibly a clash in styles, practices, methods and culture. Relieve the stress and put me in your pocket. I can arrive in time for your rehearsal dinner makeup and be up getting you and your party ready the next morning all bright eyed and bushy tailed. Will happily stay for any additional shoots after the “I Do's” too! Please touch base for details and date availability.
  • How long does the makeup take?
Brides range from 45 minutes to 1 hour 15+. Guests take about 45 minutes. That includes a reset and brush sanitation. I always schedule more for the bride to accommodate for any interruptions and to make sure all the details are perfect.
  • Do you do tattoo cover ups?
Absolutely! I'm skilled in a multitude of products and techniques. Lets take a look at 'er and do a test during the makeup preview. We can decide what's the best course of action to take. I'll write down 'the recipe' and recreate it on the big day. *Will provide remover for you.
  • My Mother and Aunt (ie.) are showing up later in the day, can they still have their makeup done?
Yes, I'll get the party shipped off for photos then continue on with other guests not being photographed at that moment.
  • What size of party can you accommodate?
It depends on your timeline. I am comfortable with up to 8. Some timelines allow me to complete more guests after the completion time if they're not required in photos scheduled. For bigger parties I'll invite my Second Artist.
  • How long will my makeup last?
Your makeup will last the entire day. I use a variety of professional waterproof and water resistant products plus a hearty dose of setting spray.
  • Do you practice good sanitation methods?
YES! All brushes and tools are sanitized and materials replaced for every single client. I work off a metal palette and use a stainless steel spatula where I extract cream products out of their original packaging. I will never touch my brushes directly to cream products. I cover my work surface with clean paper towels to protect your furniture and stay clean. You will not see me touch my face, then touch yours. If I happen to relieve an itch I will sanitize my hands each and every time. Tuck my hair behind my ear? Yup. I will do it then, too. Cross my heart.
